Letter G is for . . . Giraffes & Ghosts!

Miss Jaymi and Sammy the Toucan have posted their latest early literacy blog and video featuring the letter G . . . for giraffes and ghosts!  Halloween is fast approaching, so ghosts will be here soon. Well, at least kids dressed up for trick-or-treat will be dropping by.

Remember my blog posts about visiting the Indianapolis zoo?  I saw some giraffes there.

Like ghosts?  We have many ghost stories in our library.  Here is one book that is aimed at young adults, who we used to call teenagers. It is available in our Evergreen Indiana online catalog.

We actually have two book trailers for this book.  Which one do you like better?  Please let me know in the comments section of the blog.

Everybody who's interested in early literacy should read Miss Jaymi and Toucan Sammy's blog.  The videos alone are worth watching, but the blogs are chock full of great ideas for young readers (who we used to call preschoolers) to learn how to read.  Nothing is more important than reading!  Well, maybe canned tuna-in-oil, which is my favorite food, but that's probably just moi.
