A Girl of the Limberlost

Have you read A Girl of the Limberlost, by Gene Stratton-Porter?  If you're a 'Tween (ages 10-14) or a Young Adult (ages 13-18) or even a grown-up (do numbers go that high?), and if you like romance and the beauty of nature, then you may enjoy this book of personal determination amidst blossoming love.

Did you know that Gene Stratton-Porter was a Hoosier author?  Sometimes it's fun to read books by people who, like us, grew up (or lived) in Indiana.  Their real-life experiences creep into their fictional plots, and, if the books are non-fiction, then, of course, they contain factual information.  Stratton-Porter wrote both fiction and non-fiction (primarily naturalist books).

Our Library has A Girl of the Limberlost in our Evergreen Indiana online catalog.
