Our Teddy Bear Sleepover

There's still time to sign-up for tonight's Teddy Bear Sleepover at the Library.  Miss Michelle, whom I call  Crafty Gal (because she makes such wonderful crafts), said there are a few spots still open.  All you early readers (preschoolers) won't want to miss the festivities.  Everything's more fun wearing PJs.  It's a cool look for young humans.  Not so much for us felines, though.

Well, Kinda Cute, Maybe

Want to see some of our photos from one of our previous sleepovers?  We've got images from 2011 and 2012--take your pick (get it?  Pick--pictures.  Okay, it's a lame joke).  I also have some of my previous blog posts about the event.  Want to read them again?  Sure you do.

Preschoolers, have your caregivers sign-up online.  Then all you'll need to do is come to the program this evening in the Bonita Marley Community Room.  You'll have a terrific time!  Crafty Gal guarantees it.  You can take that to the bank!  But they won't deposit it into your account.  Sorry.

Who's Behind That Mask?

Everybody was disguised at the Library last night, as Programma Mama and, in a surprise return, Savvy (who flew all the way from Florida) hosted a Masquerade Ball in our Bonita Marley Community Room. There was a HUGE turnout--there were more masks than you'd see at a caped crusader convention--and, of course, we have some photos, courtesy of our own dynamic duo. As always, click the images to enlarge them. (We've got more pictures on the MPL Flickr photostream.)

It sounded as if everyone was having a grand ol' time.  I could hear the music from my place several blocks away!  Seriously, it was a truly top-notch party--a wonderful success.  Big congrats to Programma Mama and Savvy.

Dinosaur Digging With Crafty Gal

This week Miss Michelle, whom I call Crafty Gal because she's so terrific with crafts, had a dinosaur digging program for her early readers.  She also has two new read-aloud videos featuring dinosaurs.

Can You Dig It?

Crafty Gal has another read-aloud summer storytime video!  This one's about moles.  Can you dig it?
